We make our first ever visit to Southern Road tomorrow to take on Southern League new boys Exmouth Town. The Devon-based side gained promotion after finishing runners-up to Tavistock in the Western League.
Exmouth have started well in their debut season at Step Four, winning three and losing one game so far in the League. They have scored 6 and conceded 2 and sit in third place. However they are out of both the FA Cup and FA Trophy.
We make the 270 mile round trip buoyed after three consecutive victories, the last being a 3-0 victory at Aylesbury United in the FA Trophy on Wednesday. This followed a 3-0 win over Bishops Cleeve and 3-2 against Bristol Manor Farm, leaving us in fourth place.
