Carl Abbott has been named as Evesham United’s new manager. Birmingham-based Abbott has quit Midland Football League (MFL) Premier Division outfit Quorn, the club he led to a sixth-place finish at the level below United’s in his only full season at Farley Way.
Prior to that, Abbott had been at the helm at Market Drayton Town at Evesham’s level having enjoyed strong records two tiers below during lengthy spells at Wolverhampton Casuals and Hinckley AFC.
