Evesham vs Mousehole match report By Josh Rogers

Evesham United were beaten for the first time in 2024 after a 2-1 defeat to Mousehole, thanks to two goals from Hayden Turner.

It took just six minutes for the visitors to open the scoring after Turner was put through on goal after a lovely chip over the defence and he was there to put it past Archie Burford.

Chances after chances came for Evesham in the first half and the main one that stood out went to Amer Awadh shortly after the Mousehole goal after he took it round the keeper but couldn’t get his shot off quick enough.

Mousehole doubled their lead just under 20 minutes from time through Turner once again much to the demise of Evesham fans.

A late goal from Charlie Wise put hope back onto the home fans faces but it was too little too late.
