Report in Non-League Paper

Paulton Rovers recorded a comprehensive victory away at Evesham United. Edward Butcher opened the scoring in the 17th minute following a bright start from both teams. He then doubled Paulton’s lead with a long-range strike just before half-time, having earlier also hit the post.

It was Butcher who completed his hat-trick with another shot from the edge of the box in the 65th minute. Neil Martin made it four with yet another shot from distance in the 85th minute. Two minutes later Bradley Gray netted from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit, but that proved to be just a consolation goal for the hosts.
