No Christmas cheer at Evesham as the bottom side deservedly took the three points in a low quality game.

Exmouth started the stronger. Indecision in the defence saw Denny pounce on a back pass and he rounded the keeper to score in the eighth minute.

Soon after a corner was floated in, headed on by Landricombe and Slater scored from close range on the quarter hour.

Tuodolo burst down the left and set up Clark who swivelled and scored for the hosts.

Clark had a great chance just before half time to equalise as he got in behind the Exmouth defence, but he shot wide.

In the 46th minute, Denny scored his second with a shot from outside the box curling into the top corner.

After the goal Evesham created chances with Awadh shooting straight at the keeper. Another chance was created soon after with a scramble in the box and a subsequent shot going wide.

Evesham were reduced to ten men when Tuodolo received a second yellow for an off the ball incident. Following the incident, a free kick was played to Moran by Awadh who fired into the bottom corner in the 72nd minute.

A minute later a Morison free kick from out wide snook into the bottom corner to make it 4-2.

Exmouth held out comfortably to inflict a first defeat on the hosts for seven games.
