Evesham conceded a late equaliser to deny a victory they probably did not deserve.

Paulton took the lead on the quarter hour when Kailan Gould coolly finished after good work from Sol Wheatley.

However just two minutes later Evesham were level when a Nick Stanley free-kick was headed home by an unmarked Lorcan Sheehan.

In the 38th minute Garyn Preen shot from the edge of the box which was parried by Hannan and top scorer Lance Smith tapped home from close range.  Just before the break a shot from Radford rattled the Evesham bar.

The second half saw a few half chances for the home side, but on 86 minutes it was Wheatley whose shot was deflected into the bottom right corner.

A disappointing outcome for the Robins who remain in second place, but two home draws in a row means those chasing have closed the gap.
