Two goals and an assist from Leigh Downing inspired Evesham United to their first back to back win sequence since the opening two games of the season. Downing put Evesham ahead on 12 minutes in an even first half for chances. Two minutes into the second half a corner from Downing was headed powerfully home by winger Will Gayton. On 89 minutes Downing added his second with a shot on the angle. It was also a second successive clean sheet for the home side. Evesham up to 11th.
