Evesham won their first game of 2020 at Mangotsfield yesterday winning 5-3 in an entertaining match.
Lee Chilton put the visitors in front glancing a goal bound shot into the net. After a number of opportunities went begging, Evesham deservedly doubled their league when a Bragoli cross was tapped home from close range by loanee Jamie Lucas.
After the break Mangotsfield opened their account when Ollis scored with a header from close range. Man of the match Matt Dodd came on as a substitute and he made an immediate impact with a fantastic cross slammed home by Paul Sullivan on the volley. On the hour, there was an unfortunate own goal when keeper Lochlan Robertson could not gather a corner and it bobbled over the line. The home side levelled on 70 minutes when a defensive mixup allowed Demkiv to score. With a quarter of an hour to go, Matt Dodd crossed from the left and Calvin Dinsley hit a fierce drive in to the net from 15 yards. The icing on the cake came in injury time when Dodd scored with a curling effort into the top corner.
