Charlie Wise has today signed for National League North side Banbury United. Charlie played 69 matches for the Robins, plus 2 substitute appearances, scoring 7 goals. This will be a move to a Step Two side with whom the 28 year-old previously played for over two spells, including the promotion winning season of 2015-16.

Charlie has accepted an offer from Banbury United. We are obviously disappointed, I fully understand his reasoning behind leaving and wish him all the best for the rest of this season. We are losing a tremendous player who has won awards last season and has played superbly since his return part way through this campaign. We as a club have done everything we could to keep him, but ultimately it wasn’t enough.
