Evesham go to Stourbridge for a First Round Worcestershire Senior Cup tie tomorrow night, kick-off 7.45pm. The match will be played to a conclusion on the night, with penalties at the end of the 90 minutes, if required. There will be no extra-time played.
In July, the two sides played a friendly which resulted in a 1-1 draw at the Jubilee Stadium.
Last season saw two Cup ties between the sides, Stourbridge winning the first in the FA Cup at Evesham 3-0, but Evesham gained revenge in the Worcestershire Senior Cup in February this year coming back from 0-2 down at half-time to win 3-2 after extra time at the War Memorial Ground.
Stourbridge are currently mid-table in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League. Evesham are likely to field several former Glassboys in their squad for the match, including Linden Dovey, Aaron Drake, Marcus Jackson and George Washbourne.
The winners of Tuesday’s match will visit Kidderminster Harriers in the semi-final.
