At the annual 2015 Groundsman of the Year awards held at the Hilton Hotel, St, Georges Park, Burton on Trent on Wednesday 12th August, Evesham United’s own Nigel Gregg was honoured with two awards. After being advised that he would be a Southern Football League Award Finalist he picked up the runners up cup for that category.
He was also listed as a finalist for the national level 3 & 4 award which covers all 208 clubs in the Evo-Stik Southern League, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League and the Ryman League and received a second trophy by taking third place in that category.
Everyone at Evesham United appreciates the work that Nigel puts in at the Jubilee Stadium and offers their congratulations in recognising the contribution he makes, working in all weathers, to maintain the high standard of the playing surface.
