Evesham United Under 18 Girls team lost the final in Rugby on Saturday 4-1 to the League Champions Wolves. However the scoreline did not reflect Eveshams committment and contribution to a terrific match, played in the right spirit by two teams determined to play in the right way. Player for player there was very little difference between the two squads.
Evesham were beaten by two goals in each half, although Hannah Kedward did score a penalty late on and Hannah Campbell had a shot which hit the underside of the bar and then bounced down on the line.
This was the last competitive game at youth level for the following players, of which quite a few are leaving for University etc.
