Evesham United tonight host league leaders Merthyr Town in a re-arranged Calor League Division 1 South & West match at the Jubilee Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm).
Merthyr currently lead the table by 6 points from Cirencester Town against whom they beat 3-1 at the Cigg-e Stadium last Saturday. They have won five of their last six games scoring 28 goals in the process. However on the road they have lost six times in twelve matches. This will be a tough test for the home side who will have to show the same commitment and form in coming back from 2-0 down to Bridgwater Town to win 3-2 last Saturday.
