We have signed defender Marc Richards as player coach. Marc has a wealth of experience and has been playing in Australia for the past 3 years for Manly United in the New South Wales Premier League also as player coach. He has just returned to the UK and is Senior Football Manager at Hartpury College.
He started out in the youth and reserve teams at Cheltenham, where he was handed a short-term professional deal by Steve Cotterill in 2000. He went on to play for Cirencester Town, Cinderford Town, Swindon Supermarine, Weston-super-Mare and Chippenham. The 31-year-old was part of the Gloucester team that clinched promotion to Conference North in 2010.
