Friday 13th turned out to be an unlucky day for the Robins against a good Bewdley side. On a muggy evening at Worcester the home side started brightly, enjoying plenty of the ball with the midfield due of Hawkins and Thomas seeing plenty of possession.
The deadlock was broken after 18 minutes following some good fluid football by Bewdley saw them go 1-0 up. Boosted by their lead, the away side continued to probe testing Smith in goal and keeping the back four of Evesham busy. The second goal came on 26 minutes when a rare mistake by the Evesham centre backs Foster and Jelfs allowed the Bewdley striker to finish.
Evesham fought back well with efforts by Jeffs and Malin coming close. The second half was goal-less although Heritage and Valentine had good chances but just couldnt find the back of the net.

Starting Line-up: Smith, Webb, Ellis, Foster, Jelfs, Hawkins, Thomas, Heritage, Boiliner, Malin, Jeffs. Subs: Valentine, Middleton
