Evesham United Ladies travelled to Leominster on a rather windswept and blustery this afternoon.

Evesham pressed from the start and unsettled the hosts defence leading to captain Rosie Johns opening the scoring. Hannah Watts and Kasey Corbett got a tight grip of the midfield and played balls through to Hannah Campbell and Sophie Griffiths bringing the score to 3-0. Campbell then added further goals to bring up her hat trick. Evesham continued to have the upper hand and had many chances hitting the bar twice and bringing out great saves from the Leominster keeper.
Half time 0-5
In the second half Evesham continued to press scoring further goals through Immy Wray and another from Johns. Another effort was well saved by the Leominster keeper who injured her hand in the process and had to be replaced. Evesham changed formation to 3-4-3 and soon scored again through Millie Meadows to increase the total, however the change of formation unsettled the visitors and Leominster scored. Evesham continued to press the Leominster goal and further strikes from Laura Pearce (2), Bethany Guy and Griffiths and Meadows adding to their totals was only replied to by another long range Leominster goal. Leaving the final score as 13-2 to the visitors. Hannah Watts was the Evesham player of the match.
