An excellent game of football was abandoned after 53 minutes due to floodlight failure. The decision was somewhat controversial as two minutes after the match was abandoned the floodlights came back on.  The lights originally went off during half time.

After a six minute delay to the start of the second half the game re-started only for the lights to fail after 53 minutes. After less than ten minutes the referee put a halt to the game with both sets of players and management wanting to continue in normal light.  Two minutes after the game was abandoned the floodlights came back on and remained on for what would have been the rest of the game.  The referee had been informed the lights would come back on after the generator was sorted.

For the record Evesham took the lead through Elliot Kennedy on 20 minutes, Thompson equalised in the 26th and Mann put Evesham back in front before half-time.
