Evesham recorded their biggest win of the season beating Thatcham Town today at the Jubilee Stadium.

Missing seven players through suspension, injury and unavailability, manager Paul Collicutt changed to a 3-5-2 formation. Daniel Watkin and Will Wellon made their debuts at centre back, with stand-in skipper Jared Wilson pushed into midfield.

Evesham took the lead on 34 minutes when a good run and cross by Marcus Jackson saw loanee Ed Williams slot home.  The home side continued to have the better chances up to half time.

Ten minutes into the second half left back Paul Taplin was sent off for Thatcham.  Wilson scored on the hour with a 25 yarder and soon after on 67 Linden Dovey headed in from a Smith header.

Substitute James Vercesi bagged a goal on 78 minutes before Lance Smith headed in powerfully from a Vercesi cross in injury time.

Evesham move up one place to 14th.

Attendance: 187
