Evesham slumped to their ninth home defeat of the season losing 2-0 to play-off hopefuls Paulton Rovers at the Jubilee Stadium today.  As early as the third minute Paulton were awarded a penalty, but Australian on-loan keeper from Nuneaton Town Ben McNamara saved it with his first touch of the ball for Evesham.  

The visitors took the lead on 21 minutes through Brandon Barnes who then doubled the lead on 41 minutes.  In the second half Paulton had the clearest chances and could have added to their tally but it finished 2-0.

Evesham slip to 15th and make the short trip to Bishops Cleeve on Monday.
