Evesham progressed to the FA Cup First Qualifying Round with a comfortable 3-1 victory of Northern Premier League Division One South side Kidsgrove Athletic.  

Without Lance Smith, Paul Collicutt handed a debut to new signing George Washbourne.

Despite having the better of the early exchanges, the visitors took the lead on 32 minutes when Joseph Woolley scored.  Evesham hit back a minute before half time when George Washbourne equalised.

In the second half, Washbourne was brought down in the box and Jared Wilson converted the penalty in the 49th minute. On the hour, Evesham were awarded a second spot-kick when Jack Watts was fouled and Wilson scored the resultant penalty for his fourth goal of the season.

Evesham continued to dominate and could have scored more, victory giving a home tie with Redditch United.
