The Robins rediscovered the form that gave so much success last season with an encouraging performance against their visitors from Dorset, Wimborne Town.

Despite creating the better chances early on, the visitors took the lead when Mark Gamble lobbed the ball over Kevin Sawyer in the 19th minute.  Evesham responded well with Man of the Match Nick Stanley shooting into the bottom right corner after being set up by George Washbourne on the half hour.  They took the lead a minute before half time when superb work by Forest Green Rovers loanee Louis McGrory set up Sean Wood who fired home.

The second half continued in the same vein and just before the hour Sean Wood set up George Washbourne who shot first time into the bottom left corner.

A thoroughly deserved victory with good periods of flowing football.  Evesham now up to 8th.
