Evesham opened their League campaign at Fleet Town this afternoon. The visitors made the worst possible start conceding a goal by Rob Carr after 29 seconds.
Evesham scored a deserved equaliser a minute before half time. Ashley Edenborough was fouled on the edge of the box and from the resultant free kick by Ben Evans, skipper Matt Sysum scored with a header.
After the break, Evesham had a lot of possession creating half chances but failed to produce a winner.
