Evesham made it five wins out of five and six unbeaten with a fine victory at Larkhall Athletic today.  Travelling to the Bath-based hosts for the first time, Evesham took an early lead in the third minute through Ashley Edenborough whose unstoppable shot went in off the underside of the bar.

The visitors could thank stopper Kevin Sawyer for keeping them ahead with three fine saves, however in the 38th minute Horam’s fierce drive from outside the area went in for a deserved equaliser for Larkhall.

Evesham edged the second half and scored the winner in the 70th minute when Adam Mann was tripped in the box and captain Matt Sysum sent the keeper the wrong way to put the visitors 2-1 up.

Evesham held on to ensure they rose one place up the table to 7th and importantly just three points off the play-off places with a game in hand.
