Evesham completed their league programme with a convincing 3-0 victory at Marlow.  Frustratingly the visitors finished just two points off the final play-off place after winning 11 of their last 13 matches.

Evesham took the lead midway through the first half when Cheltenham Town loanee Karnell Chambers scored after great work by Adam Mann and Carl Brown on the right wing.  On the stroke of half time it was two when a Carl Brown cross was headed into the bottom corner by Clayton Green.

In the 73rd minute, the win was confirmed when captain Matt Sysum scored with a trademark header.  There was time for a five minute cameo from substitute goalkeeper Conor Thompson who came on up front for top scorer Adam Mann.

So Evesham finish sixth and will rue a slow start to the season that ultimately cost them a play-off spot.

Evesham United: Sawyer, Dovey, Green (Wood 69), Harding, Sysum, Wellon, Sloggett, Stanley, Mann (Thompson 87), Brown (Modest 65), Chambers
