Evesham United maintained their unbeaten away record with a hard fought point at Yate Town. They extended their run to four games without defeat in an evenly contested match, with both sides lacking the cutting edge.

The best chance of the first half fell to George Washbourne, but after rounding goalkeeper Martin Horsell, he rolled his shot wide of the post, when he seemed certain to score. At the other end, Kevin Sawyer made a smart stop from Harry Horton. Evesham finished the half on top, with Nick Stanley lifting his shot too high and then firing into the side netting.

The second half was closely fought again, with United defender Liam Harding headed off the goal line to deny Jake Cox midway through. Towards the end Horsell safely gathered headers from Adam Mann and Louis McGrory, as it finished goalless.
