Evesham United’s Nick Stanley and Liam Harding are injury doubts for the local derby against Redditch in the FA Trophy first qualifying round tomorrow (3pm) according to the Gloucestershire Echo.

Stanley has picked up a calf injury and Harding is struggling with a knee ligament problem.

United boss Paul Collicutt is expecting a tough test with the visit of Redditch. He said: “They play in the league above us. The match is a local derby and there is a lot of history between the two clubs. There is a lot at stake with it being in the FA Trophy.”

Evesham are coming off the back of an impressive 4-1 victory over Mangotsfield United on Tuesday evening, with striker Adam Mann scoring a hat-trick, bringing his goal tally to seven for the season.

Collicutt will be hoping his side can replicate this performance  on Saturday. “I was very happy with on Tuesday because it was a very good and complete team performance,” Collicutt said.

Evesham are currently sitting ninth in Southern League Division One South and West. Redditch are flying high in the Southern Premier Division, sitting in third.

Evesham will hope to keep their top scorer Daniel Dubidat quiet at the weekend, with the Reds captain having bagged seven goals this term. Redditch also boast one of the meanest defences in the Premier Division, having only conceded 15 goals in their 17 games.
