Evesham fell behind in the first ten minutes and were put under some pressure in the first 20 minutes, which included a goalmouth scramble with the ball cleared off the line three times.  Evesham got back into the game when Josh Evans struck the cross bar and finished the half on top.

After the break Evesham deservedly equalised when Ben Townsend scored.  However within two minutes Fintan regained the lead scoring from a direct free kick.  Evesham retaliated well when Townsend scored his second finishing off a good move.  Ben Procter then scored to put Evesham 3-2 up, but this was shortlived when Fintan equalised with a shot from long range.

In a pulsating match Evesham scored the winner through Ed Hagley.  In the last ten minutes the game was end to end, but Evesham held on to win the Cup by a scoreline of 4 goals to 3.  Evesham’s defence played very well against a strong forward line.
