Evesham United can move closer to the Southern League Division One South and West top 10 with victory over Sholing tomorrow (3pm) writes Steve Carley of the Worcester News

United welcome the FA Vase holders to the Jubilee Stadium looking to make it three home wins on the trot following Tuesday’s 5-0 thrashing of lowly Bashley and last Saturday’s 1-0 success over Shortwood United.

Manager Paul Collicutt said: “We have got a difficult game tomorrow and then we play four away from home so we have got a difficult few weeks coming up. If we can get a positive result it puts us up there with a lot of clubs within a couple of points of each other so that would be interesting and give us a lot of belief.”

Back-to-back triumphs ended a nine-game winless streak and Collicutt added: “Bashley was a potential banana skin but the players adapted well and the game was tied up by half-time.”
